The Car
I teach my students to drive and to pass their test in a new Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 Diesel.
The car was chosen with learner drivers in mind: it's easy to drive, has great all-round visibility with well set out controls and pedals that make the drivers driving position one of the best around and the Corsa's dials are really clear to read
It has a great manual gear box with well defined gear selection, so its easy to know if and when you're in gear and just as easy when selecting a new gear.
Enviroment
Vauxhall has been really working hard on green credentials and my car has their Eco Flex technology for really low CO2 emissions.
Safety
With all-round air bags, ABS brakes and the addition of HE-MAN dual controls (yes that really is their name!) safety is an issue taken very highly by the car manufacturer and your instructor.
Comfort
The car is fully air conditioned.
